How to create a blog

I'll be teaching a class Oct. 5 on how to create a blog. It's at South Sound Community College in Olympia, Wash.

I've been teaching the class for several years now. It's really fun.

The students who have come to the class were interested in writing blogs on travel, human relations, autism, nutritious food, fashions, public policy, knitting, downsyndrome, aging, and more.

I blog at The Survive and Thrive Boomer Guide and the Boomer Consumer, a reader blog on the Seattle Post-Intelligencer website.

I've been blogging for five years now. I've had nearly one million page views on my two blogs.

My class is called "How to Create a Blog." Here's information about it.

Great blogging class offered in Olympia

I’ll be offering a blogging workshop at the South Puget Sound Community College at 9 a.m. Saturday June 15 in Mottman Building 34, Room 107, in Olympia, Wash.

Come and join us.

The purpose of this blog is to write about preparing for the workshop and the workshop itself.

An announcement about the class was made in the SPSCC booklet for Community Classes several months ago. I also have been hanging up posters about the class — at the Olympia Food Co-op and SPSCC.
