Would you like to learn how to become a blogger?
I'm teaching a class at South Puget Sound Community College In Olympia, Wash., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Jan. 23.
If you live in the area, come and join us.
My students have set up blogs on food, fashions, public relations, personal challenges, the paranormal, knitting, boating, travel, books, aging, the public interest, and much more.
Click here for more information and to sign up for the course.
My blogs are The Survive and Thrive Boomer Guide and the Boomer Consumer, a reader blog on the Seattle Post-Intelligencer website.
I began blogging in 2008. Since then I've written more than 4,000 articles and have nearly 1 million page views.
Blogging is interesting and rewarding. It's like having your own newspaper.
My background includes 10 years as a journalist and nearly 20 years as a writer and editor for state government.
